Summary
Roman bricks were found near Narford Hall before the early 19th century. Blomefield also records human remains and a stone coffin, which he thought were probably from a medieval hermitage.

R.R. Clarke (NCM).
(S1) also refers to 'human bones and stone coffin' which he assumes was a medieval hermitage.
