Summary

A square dovecote built of brick and probably dating to the 18th century. It belonged to Brooke Hall (NHER 10152) which was demolished in the mid 20th century.

Dovecote; square brick tower, no apertures except one window and louvres at point of roof.
Very dilapidated.
Surrounded by modern housing estate.
Possibly 18th century, the dovecote is one of the few remains of Brooke Hall, see NHER 10152.
Visted E. Rose 2 June 1975.

Now listed Grade II, see (S1) which states that louvres have been removed, with a flat lead roof instead.
