Map

5 bays 2 storeys, white brick, corner pilasters, Tuscan porch; about 1850.
Extension in red and white brick, 2 storeys, about 1880.
Good staircase.
Visited E. Rose (NAU) 4 June 1975 and 20 August 1981.

Said from the District Council to be of the 1870s, and to stand on the site of the medieval hall demolished in the 18th century.
E. Rose (NAU) 14 October 1982.

However (S1) states that it is the extension which is of the 1870s and the original building is of the 1830s. This certainly fits better with what the present writer saw on the ground in 1975.
E. Rose (NLA) 26 January 1998.

November 2003. Visit.
Roof burnt off November 2003. Subsequent visit revealed no trace of pre 19th century work, see (S2).
E. Rose (NLA), 18 November 2003.
