Full Description
10th to 11th centuey Thetford type ware cooking pot waster with rouletted decoration round shoulder.
Almost complete (1 piece of rim missing).
Described as 'Celtic pottery' in (S1) 'Plus two Roman urns with no locality'.
Label in pot says 'from Norwich: Castle area'.
[1] believes this is a mistake for Castle Acre.
