Full Description
September 1976. Visited.
Church Farm Barn.
Barn about 9m (30 feet) high and 18m (60 feet) long.
Flint with brick surrounds to slit windows.
Brick internal walls. Thatched.
Original beams remain, some strong enough to support modern machinery.
Walls partly repaired.
18th/19th century. (S1).
Good contemporary flint and brick pantiled farm buildings to north and east.
A number of old railway mileage posts lie around, some from the North Staffordshire line.

Monument polygon amended to cover just the listed barn. New record (NHER 60801) created for the farmstead. A photographic record of the farm buildings was made in October 2013 ahead of planned conversion to residential use.
