Map

February to March 2003. NAU survey.
Two timber posts. The southernmost semicircular in cross-section, the other circular. There is a possiblity that they may be associated with a possible trackway (NHER 38218) to the southeast.
J. Allen (NLA), 23 April 2003.

September 2003. Site visit.
Westernmost post - 0.06m proud from beach surface, as opposed to 0.04m in July 2003. Presumably erosion around July to September.
Easternmost post - not seen, covered in sand. Presumably deposition around July to September 2003.
Posts are 0.3m apart - unable to tell if the localised differences reflect consistently different processes over two months or differences caused by the last tidal retreat before the monitoring.
D. Robertson (NAU), 20 October 2003.
