Summary

A track or road of post medieval date is showing as a cropmark on the 1946 RAF aerial photographs. Two sections of it are visible. It is actually marked on the Ordnance Survey 1 inch 1st edition map, but is no longer present on the Ordnance Survey 25 inch 2nd edition map and the northernmost section of it can be seen on Bryant’s map of Norfolk (1826).

A track/road is showing as a cropmark on the 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1-(S2). Two sections of it are visible, running from (a) TF71007 4298 to T7119 4287 and (b) TF7168 4265 to TF7219 4218. It is actually marked on the Ordnance Survey 1 inch 1st edition map (S3), but is no longer present on the Ordnance Survey 25 inch 2nd edition map (S4) (though secton a remains as a field boundary). Also the northernmost section of track (a) can be seen on Bryant’s map of Norfolk (1826) (S5). This road is of post medieval date.
