Full Description
'Gould's Hill' (location not found).
Two leaf arrowheads.
See [1].
E. Rose (NAU), 15 May 1979.
However see NHER 4538 where the name Gould's Hill is given under Beachamwell.
Presumably the information is written on the flint, as the NCM register says 'A selection of Mr. Clarke's flint collection from Beechamwell'. Presumably the answer is that Gould's Hill is somewhere between Beachamwell and Swaffham.
[2] notes that a Mr. Gould had a large shop in the centre of Swaffham, and Mangate Street was known in the 19th century as Gould's Hill. However it seems unlikely that this would be the findspot.
E. Rose (NLA), 18 April 1988.
J. Allen (NLA), 29 September 2003.
