Summary

This is the possible course of the medieval Brabons Dyke, shown on an early 17th century estate map running north to south of the main road. The dyke has been interpreted as following the course of a possible Roman road.

(S2) appears to indicate Brabons Dyke running north to south of main road, south of River Heacham. Could this Dyke be a Roman road heading for old bridge or ford point? Road on (S3) running east from Heacham School called 'The Broadway'.
