Summary

A Bronze Age midrib copper alloy dagger was found on Manor Farm sometime before 1929. The dagger is now held by Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography.

From Manor Farm near boundary of Hilgay parish found by late owner's father, not in fenland.
Bronze Age copper alloy midrib dagger (168mm long).

Manor Farm house is 'Manor House' on 6in Ordnance Survey in Southery village - the lands extended to Hilgay. Demolished: land sold 1979 to Kisbee Farms Ltd.
