Summary

Unusual undated watercourses were noted here. These are unlikely to be a medieval moat. They have been replaced with a modern oval pond.

These are no longer. A pond of roughly oval form has been constructed here since 1982 (see CUCAP) obliterating the traces of this feature. A sharp angled bank surrounds the pond. R. Silvester (NAU) doubts whether the feature was a
moat of medieval date as too far out in Fen.
