Bronze Looped palstave (159mm long) with Norfolk painted on blade and in ink 'C. R. Manning, Diss', perhaps the palstave found in 1849 at 'Marshland Fen' in Rev C. R. Manning's Collection. 1853 (sketch in his Ms Catalogue in Norfolk and Norwich Archaeology Society Library. A palstave from 'Marshland Fen' was sold at Manning's sale 1900 and bought by E. H. Beloe (letter E. M. Beloe to Haverfield 16 February 1901 (S1)).
