Summary

This former rectory was built in 1802. The south front is rendered with clunch and brick returns. The two storey and five bay building has a slate roof and is in Neo-Classical style. This building replaced the Rectory House in which Admiral Lord Nelson was born which was on a different site.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former rectory house. 1802. Rendered south front, clunch and brick returns, slate roof. Two storey five bay south front, two storey with attic returns to north. Neo-classical. Two two-bay outer bows segmental on plan have two ground and two first floor curved sashes with glazing bars, architrave surrounds."
