Full Description
1 July 1962. Brecklands Estate, west side of 'Rosamund' in removing a hedge.
At depth of 45cm (1' 6") a silver bracelet was found, small pewter dish, small sherd of early medieval pottery, and modern bottles, crockery and scrap metal ?modern collecter's dump.
Site examined by A.P. Baggs, 2 July 1962, and by R.R. Clarke (NCM) and E.B. Green (NCM) 13 July 1962 when 2 trial holes discovered 15cm to 30cm (6"-1') of light soil over brownish sand.
