Summary

Neolithic worked flints including knives, a borer, a chisel, adzes, scrapers and axeheads were found at the beginning of the 20th century. The exact nature and location of these discoveries are unclear.

One flint knife (S1).

Around 1914.
One partly ground knife, roughly oval with convex back and edge ground at one end only 6.6cm (2.6 inches) x 5cm (2 inches).

One borer.

One chipped chisel.

?Two flat oval knives - ?one has both faces chipped. Each (2.3 inches) x 3.81cm (1.5 inches).

One small triangular adze with sharp sides.

One elongate adze with convex back and rounded cutting edge

1. Three scrapers, one large horse-shoe-shaped.
2. Combined scraper and borer, stout triangular blade being extended into a tang like point 7.4 cm (2.9 inches) x 6.35cm (2.5 inches).
