Map

1963. [1].
A few worked flint flakes found on surface. Flint arrowheads from this field or next to east.
E. B. Green (NCM).

At this grid reference (but stated to be approximate) F. Healy (NAU) notes a stone axe hammer in Younge collection. No similar object recorded on adjacent sites; one presumes it is not the same as NHER 5185 Context 5 as that was identified by F. Healy (NAU) as a stone axe rather than axe hammer.
E. Rose (NLA) 20 September 1993.

Similarly at this grid reference F. Healy (NAU) notes a fragment of a single piece sickle, a fabricator and a sandstone quern fragment in the Secker collection.

Before 7 October 1993. Stray find.
Polished axehead, Neolithic. Long, narrow, bifacially polished at cutting edge, extending to one third of the length on one face (S1).
See drawing in secondary file.
Site extended to the whole field. Previous extent mapped at [2].
E. Whitcombe (NLA), 12 February 2010. Amended by A. Beckham (HES), 15 November 2019.
