Summary

This house has has now been split into two properties. It dates to 1820 and is made from red brick with a hipped slate roof. The central panelled door has an overlight with lattice glazing bars in panelled reveals flanked by two Tuscan half-columns with a plain entablatureand small hood. A high garden wall attached to left has a round- headed door with gauged brick arch.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now two. Dated to 1820. Red brick; hipped slate roof; two rear brick chimneys two storeys; three first-floor windows. Central panelled (double-leaf style) door has overlight with lattice glazing bars in panelled reveals flanked by two Tuscan half-columns with a plain entablatureand small hood...Paired modillion cornice. High garden wall attached to left has a round- headed door with gauged brick arch. Similar wall to right forms the facade of No 8a with ground and first-floor sashes to right of door. Roof not visible behind parapet with flat stone coping."
