Summary

Various prehistoric objects were recovered in this field by F. Curtis during the 1950s and 1960s. Worked flints included a possible Mesolithic microlith, and a particularly fine Beaker dagger. Over 30 sherds of Bronze Age pottery and several Beaker sherds were also found. Subsequent fieldwalking undertaken as part of the the Fenland Project identified several 'pot boiler' sites and recovered a number of additional worked flints.
