A large Neolithic flint knife was found here in 1964. Other Neolithic flints including a polished axehead may also have been found on this site.

F. Healy (NAU) notes in Mildenhall museum, probably ex Fletcher accession nos 1980-80, 1980-81, 82, 1980-135 and 151, a combined scraper/scale flaked knife on a pre-patinated blank, piercer, 4 other scale flaked knives, fabricator, polished axe, edge ground implement. These are accessed as 'Feltwell TL 682 885' but grid reference is in Hockwold
and Healy suggests they are the same as 'Fletcher material site NHER 5326' though only the one knife is mentioned on NHER as from here.
