Summary

These 18th- and 19th-century buildings form two sides of the stable court adjacent to Wattlefield Hall (NHER 15590). The barn forming the north side dates to the late 18th century and is of brick with a roof of black glazed pantiles. The west side is found by early 19th-century stables with whitewashed brick walls and a pantile roof.

September 1992. Listed, Grade II.
Two buildings listed separately.

Excerpt of Listing Description for barn to north of courtyard:
"...Late 18th centrury. Brick. Roof of black glazed pantiles. Central double-leaf timber doors under overlight. Subsidiary window to left (west). Gabled roof.
INTERIOR. Roof of principals, two tiers staggered butt purlins and collars. Included for group value."

Excerpt of Listing Description for stables to west of wide of courtyard:
"...Early 19th century. Whitewashed brick with pantile roofs, partly black-glazed. Central gable with dentil eaves contains semi-circular carriage arch. Three former carriage bays to left now with 20th-century garage doors. Two Diocletian windows to loose boxes left of entrance arch. Gabled roof. Included for group value."
