Summary

A medieval parish church dating back to the early 14th century, with 19th century restoration. The church has a fine example of a hammerbeam and tie beam roof, with carved figures of angels or kings. The church contains two 18th century marble memorials, and there is an early 18th century headstone with a carved skull in the churchyard. The church is no longer is use as St James' in Wilton is now the parish church for the two villages.
