Summary
A medieval parish church dating back to the early 14th century, with 19th century restoration. The church has a fine example of a hammerbeam and tie beam roof, with carved figures of angels or kings. The church contains two 18th century marble memorials, and there is an early 18th century headstone with a carved skull in the churchyard. The church is no longer is use as St James' in Wilton is now the parish church for the two villages.

Much conglomerate, possible evidence of apse, but otherwise early 14th century with 15th century chancel, some windows and roof.
