Summary

Prehistoric objects known to have been recovered at 'Fengate' in Weeting with Broomhill parish during the earlier 20th century but with little additional information regarding provenance. These finds include a Late Upper Palaeolithic crested flint blade and a number of Neolithic implements, including a tanged arrowhead and a polished axehead.

Prehistoric objects known to have been recovered at 'Fengate' in Weeting with Broomhill parish during the earlier 20th century but with little additional information regarding provenance. Fengate is probably a reference to the area around Fengate Farm (TL 775 879).

FINDS IN THE NORWICH CASTLE MUSEUM

The Norwich Castle Museum's J. S. Warburton (probably NWHCM : 1929.153.1) includes an incomplete Late Upper Palaeolithic crested flint blade. This piece is described in (S1).
