February 2008. Norfolk NMP.
Assessment of the aerial photographs for this site as part of the ALSF NMP project indicated that the previously recorded enclosure cropmarks were of uncertain archaeological origin. The features visible have the appearance of being derived from agricultural practices and have not been mapped as part of NMP. Although given the presence of finds in this area (NHER 12297) it remains a possibility that sub-surface archaeology features do exist that may not be producing a cropmark response.
S. Massey (NMP), 20 February 2008.
