Full Description
August 1960. After dredging.
Causeway of flint seen. Approximately 9.8m (32ft) wide, marked on west side of river by two mounds at edges of causeway.
R. R. Clarke (NCM).
August 2014. Field visit.
No mounds were seen on the western side of river. It seems likely they have been covered over by the dredgings placed on the western bank since 1960.
D. Robertson (HES), 13 November 2014.
