Summary

Documentary evidence indicates that a church stood on this site, probably prior to the medieval period. In the late 13th century the church was united to St Julian's, and it was used as a chapel to Hildebrands Hospital until 1540, when it was desecrated.

The dedication of this church is probably pre Conquest. The churchyard joined on the south side with Hildebrand's Hospital. In late 13th century the church was united to St Julian's church. The church was used as chapel to Hildebrands Hospital until 1540 AD. The church was desecrated around 1540 AD.
