Summary

A rapid earthwork identification survey in 2009 identifed post medieval extraction pits, some of which appear to have been adapted for military use, and a series of part-infilled silt trenches.

Site 6:
An area of irregular depressions, in part former extraction pits, although some have narrow linking trenches, suggesting military adaption. A series of part-infilled slit trenches were identifed to the north-east of the pits.
