Summary
In 1958 an iron spearhead with a split socket and traces of wood was found with parts of a human skeleton. These spear and remains were believed to be of Late Saxon date but the exact location and circumstances of their recovery are not known.

Iron spearhead 28cm (11in) long with split socket and traces of wood found with part of human skeleton.
Finds given to KLM, March 1958.
