1912. Corporation Dwelling (now called St Mary's Crescent at grid reference TL 868 825 - E. Rose (NAU)).
Base of lamp (Hewitt) .
Decorated sherd, called Roman by (S1) and (S2).
Both found by member of the public [1] and held by Thetford Museum.
R. R. Clarke (NCM).

According to (S2) the finds recovered during the excavation of foundations for were: "…many Romano-British potsherds of grey paste..., but only two pieces were ornamented. One had a rectangular lattice-work, and the other diamond-shaped."
