Summary

In 1960 a late medieval finger ring was found on the allotment her, and in 1965 several coins were found on the same allotment. The coins have been identified as Roman dupondius of Nero and Drusus, a post medieval royal farthing of Charles II, and a spade guinea card counter.

A late medieval decade ring was found on the allotment.
Find held by NCM.
Information from (S2).

Around 1965. Casual Find.
Several coins were found on same allotment, which is now under St Martin's Way estate.
These have been identified as: an Ae dupondius of Nero and Drusus, struck under Caligula AD 37-41;
a Charles II royal farthing; a Spade guinea card counter.
Finds donated to Thetford Museum in 1975.
Card (S2) by A. Maddock (TM) 1975, not passed to NAU by NCM until 1982.
