Information from (S1).
1 April 1992.
7 medieval unglazed body sherds recovered from bare soil in the churchyard from rabbit scrapes and holes, to the south of the church.
A. Rogerson (NLA) April 1992
April 2000. Bell and bellframe survey.
Three bells dating from 1577 were removed from the tower in 1985. The bell frame is designed for three bells, and the tall king posts and curved braces suggest that it may be contemporary with the early 15th century tower.
See (S2) for further details,
H. White, (NLA), 29 September 2009
Church of Norman origins; demolished south aisle perhaps of around 1300. Remainder refashioned and tower rebuilt in about 1420 still very much in Decorated style. Complete set of early 19th century furnishings. Formerly derelict, restored by Norfolk Churches Trust in 2002.
Medieval sherds from yard.
See report in file and copy of (S3).
E. Rose (NLA) 21 January 2002.
February 2004.
Contractors working in nave of church found remains of a medieval tiled floor and 19th century sleeper walls packed on roofing tiles. Samples salvaged from spoil, now NCM.
See report in file.
