Summary

Witton Park was laid out around Witton Hall by John Norris from 1770. It is marked on Faden's Map surveyed 1790-4 as broadly rectangular in form. It was extended westwards by the time of Bryant's Map (1824-6) with plantations later mapped as the North, South and Church plantations. It was partially destroyed through compulsory ploughing during World War II.

Witton Park was laid out around Witton Hall by John Norris in 1770. It was destroyed through compulsory ploughing during World War II. The park is visible on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map from 1883 (S1), although its exact outline is unclear.
