Summary

In 1969 two Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axes were found in a 'telephone duct'. The exact location and nature of their discovery are uncertain.

Two socketed axes. Associated with others found in telephone duct. Unconfirmed.

Pendleton (S1) cites Sheringham HER 6327 / Baconsthorpe HER 6556, axes found in a cable trench, as a hoard. This is possibly a muddle with Walsingham HER 2022 / Hindringham HER 2078.
