1966. Stray Find.
Found about 450 yds [411m] north-east of Hempstead Hall:
1 Palaeolithic large, rough, Acheulean flint handaxe. See drawing (S1).
Information from (S2).
This discovery was first reported in (S3). The handaxe is also noted on (S4) and in (S5), (S6) and (S7) although no additional information is given.
