Summary

In 1975 a number of Mesolithic/Neolithic worked flints and possible Roman and Early Saxon pottery sherds were recovered near one of the Bronze Age barrows on Sparrow Hill (NHER 4055).

Found near one of the Sparrow Hill Bronze Age barrows (NHER 4055):
7 Mesolithic/Neolithic blades, 1 blade segment, 1 flake and 1 blade core.
2 ?Roman pottery sherd.
1 ?Early Saxon pottery sherd.
Discoveries reported in (S1). Finds donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1975.361).
