Axe. Flint nearly 1kg (2 pounds) weight 22cm (8 3/4 inches) long 9cm (3 1/2 inches) across greatest width. Shaped to narrow thin cutting edge at butt end. Found on farm land just in Briston parish beyond the Fulling Mill dividing Corpusty from Saxthorpe at ford of River Bure. See (S1).
