Full Description
Various finds recovered from the main area of Wallington deserted medieval village (NHER 2421).
Pre 1978. Stray Find.
According to (S1) the owner of Wallington Hall [1] has "numerous sherds of 13th- to 14th-century pottery which has been ploughed up from the park". It is likely that at least some of these were recovered from this field.

Found by [2] in area between hall and church at appoximately TF 628 076:
1 medieval purse bar. Of type A2 in London Medieval Catalogue. Drawn by King's Lynn Museum, see copy in file (S2). See full description in file. Auctioned by Philips, December 1985 (Cat. No. 96), buyer unknown. Previously recorded under NHER 2421.

4 medieval metal objects, including 1 horse-harness pendant, 2 buckles and 1 gilded belt fitting.
1 late medieval/early post-medieval rumbler bell.
1 post-medieval coin.
1 post-medieval jetton.
1 post-medieval gun flint.
