Full Description
1957. Stray Find.
Found on Beacon Hill by [1]:
Prehistoric stone pebble macehead with shallow hour-glass perforation. Donated to King's Lynn Museum (KILLM : 1957.6.3). Although this find is listed in (S1) these objects are not considered closely datable, having been found in both Mesolithic and later prehistoric contexts. The mapped extent of this record reflects the grid refence given in (S1) (TF 725424).
Previously recorded under NHER 1315. This is also probably the pebble macehead in the KLM listed in (S2) (and therefore the same object as that recorded as NHER 14931).
