Site of Burgh House (or Burgh Hall), an early 19th century house set within designed grounds (NHER 60070) and associated with the Fisher family. (S1) described it as a 'handsome white brick mansion'. In more recent years the house formed part of a 'Bygone' village museum but has now been redeveloped for housing.
