1974. Stray Find.
Heath Farm. Dragged up while subsoiling down to a depth of approximately 18" [45cm]:
1 Palaeolithic small ovate flint handaxe. S-twist with cortex remaining on butt. Dark grey flint and thick chalk patina. Tip broken off. See drawing (S1).
Seen at NCM by T. Gregory (NAU) September 1974.

This discovery was first reported in (S3). The handaxe is also noted on (S4) and in (S5), (S6) and (S7), although no additional information is given.
