Summary

A medieval parish church, which contains some Norman evidence, suggesting the presence of an earlier church on this site. The church dates mainly from the 13th and 15th centuries, with some 19th century restoration. The church contains an octagonal font with lions around the base, and medieval wall paintings of consecration crosses.

Norman west quoins of nave.
Chancel and tower 13th century with early brickwork.
Perpendicular remodelling of nave.
Octagonal font with tracery panels and lions around the base.
Some wallpaintings of consecration crosses and 17th century furnishings, including a slab to a woman from the Springall family, which bears a skull motif.
