Summary

In 1974 a battered quartzite pebble macehead with an hour glass perforation was recovered on the surface of a newly drained and ploughed field. These objects are not closely datable, having been found in both Mesolithic and later prehistoric contexts.

Found by [1] on surface of newly drained and ploughed field:
1 Mesolithic or later quartzite pebble macehead with assymetrically-placed hour-glass perforation. Battered both ends, no polishing. Petrology No. N208. See drawing (S1).
