Summary

The site of a brick kiln, visible on 1940s and 50s aerial photographs. It was destroyed in 1967 when a swimming pool was built over it, though part of the extraction pit opposite survives.

The brick kiln described above, together with associated pits, is visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs taken from 1940 onwards. It is particularly clear on a run of photographs taken in 1953 (S1).
