Base of cross was pointed out to Cozens-Hardy in 1934 in the northern hedge of the North Walsham to Happisburgh road about 536m (1/3 mile) north of Crostwight church (S1).

R. R. Clarke (NCM) indicated grid reference.

September 1976. Visit.
No stone of any kind found in northern hedge anywhere in this lane.
(S1) did say it was in danger of being overgrown!
