Summary

In the 1960s a possible medieval trackway was recorded on this site. This was indicated by stones and a cropmark running from Driftway Lane north to the parish boundary. At its north end a number of 17th century pottery sherds were recovered, at the south end a 13th century sherds. A prehistoric flint scraper was found between them.
