Summary

It is recorded that before 1975 a number of possible Early Saxon pottery sherds were recorded, along with three post holes. This information does not fit any of the known Early Saxon sites, and it may represent a previously unrecorded site.

Copy of NCM card (S1) with no date or grid ref.
Information does not exactly fit any of the known Early Saxon sites recorded. However A. J. Lawson (NAU) is sure this must be one of the sites recorded under a different number as Early Saxon activity in area in limited to certain fields. It might though just possibly be an unrecorded site.
