Map

March 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S1). It lies in an area of lumpy, uneven ground, and could be of natural rather than man-made origin. However, other barrows have been identified in the vicinity (NHER 4885 270m to the west), and it is possible that the earthwork represents an additional example. It appears to lie partially on top of a more irregular, natural mound or ridge, visible principally on its western side but not mapped. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently it is likely that the earthwork still survives.
