Summary

An area of earthwork pits, of an unknown date, are seen on visualised lidar data (S1). The pits are similar to a further area of pits to the north (NHER 63265) and may relate to military activity as the features are in close proximity to Cranwich military camp (NHER 25240). The pits may also possibly relate to modern forestry or drainage features. It is likely the pits are Second World War or modern in date.
