Full Description
Old windmill (Ordnance Survey). Base of a tower mill now used as a house with extension built on.
Complied by E. Rose (NAU), 30 September 1976. Information from record card (S1).
February 1979. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Probably early-mid 19th century. Remaining three storeys of a windmill tower. Stuccoed brick, circular on plan. First and second floor sashes, first floor with glazing bars. Ground floor French window. Flat roof."

The base is ten sided and is that of a smock mill 'recently built' in 1836 replaced by brick tower mill before 1849, latter used and dismantled September 1864. Cap was blown off. Details from [1].
