Current List Entry and (S2) describe this building as a late 18th century red brick house, formerly a house and shop with a large and notable example of a 19th century shop front with multiple glazing bars under a hood supported on consoles.
As recently as 1960 this property was inhabited by a grocer and confectioner (S3).
