Map

This building was built as an extension to the former Dock Hotel (NHER 63465) which stood immediately to the south, on the corner of North Street. The Dock Hotel closed in 1961 and was demolished ahead of road widening. On the west front of this building facing towards the docks the words MUSIC HALL are still faintly visible painted vertically onto the brick façade. According to (S1) the building was restored around 2010 and is now used as offices. (S2) makes no mention of the music hall, but (S1) states that it was linked with the singing activities of fishermen who sang folk songs to Ralph Vaughan Williams on his visit to King's Lynn in 1905.
